Social Security benefits in Italy covers a wide range of areas - for example, unemployment, maternity, accidents in the workplace, short-term and long-term illness, in addition to different types of wage guarantee funds when businesses are in distressed situations. These benefits are managed by a number of different government agencies which are vigilant in ensuring that contributions are correctly being made throughout the year.

Advice is also provided on strategic Welfare plan definitions, the evaluation of the most suitable contractual and management tools (for example part-time, extra-work and elastic clauses), supplementary health care and social security, long term care, teleworking ("telelavoro"), and Smart Working.
This is in addition to providing counsel on various forms leave (sick leave, maternity / paternity / parental leave, vacation), incentive pay, working hours, overtime management, bank-hours (‘banca ore’), and the evaluation of supplementary employee benefits and services such as stock options, private health care, private pensions and shopping / meal vouchers.
